Partner Description
The University of Oslo (UiO) was founded in 1811 and is Norway’s largest public institution of research and higher education. UiO is ranked number 8 in the UniRank European Universities ranking (2019) and number 62 in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (2018). With five Nobel Prize winners, UiO has a strong track record of pioneering research and scientific discovery. UiO has an extensive EU research project portfolio with over 100 Horizon 2020 projects and 46 ERC grant-holders (2018), and in 2010 it was awarded the HR Excellence in Research logo by the European Commission.
The UiO Faculty of Medicine, which has 1375 scientific employees, has an extensive EU project portfolio with more than 50 awarded projects and 7 ERC awardees, and it is running its second Marie Curie COFUND postdoctoral programme, with a total of 250 person-years.

- Member of WP4
- Statistical involvement in identification, validation and reporting of immunosafety biomarkers (pre-clinical and clinical), including statistical evaluation of biomarker prediction performance and translation from pre-clinic to clinic
- Development of statistical and machine learning tools for biomarker identification from high-throughput multi-omics data
