We are delighted to announce the public release of our new Organ‑on‑Chip explainer video, now available in the project publications section.
This video highlights one of the most innovative and promising technologies showcased within imSAVAR:Organ‑on‑Chip systems, which have the potential to transform the way we study immune responses and develop safer, more effective immunotherapies.
In the video, our project partners from the MicroOrganoLab, Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, provide a clear and engaging explanation of what Organ‑on‑Chip platforms are, how they are built, and why they are so powerful. The team illustrates how microengineered environments can replicate essential human organ functions and enable highly specific, human‑relevant testing approaches.
A key focus of the video is the application of Organ‑on‑Chip models to CAR‑T cell immunotherapies. These advanced systems allow researchers to study:
- specific human targets,
- the behavior of engineered immune cells, and
- the complex interactions involved in personalized cancer treatments.
By enabling controlled, physiologically meaningful experiments, Organ‑on‑Chip models represent a true game changer for immunotherapies, supporting improved prediction of immune safety and treatment outcomes.
We are proud to share this resource and hope it helps to raise awareness about the importance and potential of next‑generation in vitro models for immunological research.
